AdSense isn't a liscence to print money. You need to apply the fundamentals that apply to all profit generating ventures. You need to put the time in marketing the site, adding value, designing it for conversions etc.

The days of "post anything and they will come" have been over for a long time.

Just because you're blogging doesn't mean you'll earn money. What kind of traffic do you get? You need to figure out how to get people to your site. Also take a look at your placement, maybe it's not that great...

is it the same blog that you have on your signature?

In that case: here is a few things you can do to start off, firstly its a good design theme, your blog looks good. though if you want to get serious with this, then i suggest you to get a domain and hosting, start a wordpress blog on it.

    anyways,

    1) remove the ads from the sidebar, never works there, put that ad in your article page, some where in the middle of the article or bottom, surrounded by content, The ads size is ok, just remove the ads border.

    2) Digg every article that you write, also use about 10 other social bookmarking site, and submit to all those, every single article that you write, helps to rank good on search engines.

    3) From now on, do proper keyword search before you write the article. Make sure you have a 2-3 words, less competitive keyword in your article title, [long tail] This will atleast make sure that your every article gets atleast a few visitors from search engines.

Keep posting the way you are, don't worry about the income, once the traffic increase the clicks and income will increase too.

First you need to buy a domain and invest on some hosting. In order to make money from google you have to have a good amount of daily visitors and blogspot blogs are not the way to go!!!

"Tech stuff" is a very competitive niche. You are competing for eyeballs with some extremely popular blogs (Engadget, Gizmodo, BoingBoing Gadgets, and many others). That doesn't mean it will be impossible to be successful with your blog, because there are a lot of people who are looking for gadget information, but it does mean you'll have to work harder to get good traffic. Think about what sets your blog apart from all the others - what's your twist? Then target that subniche.

Once you have some steady traffic, you probably also want to consider other ways to monetize your blog. I have heard that webmasters and other tech types are less likely to click on the ads than other types of visitors, so Adsense may never be that profitable for you. Affiliate sales might be a good fit, though. An affiliate program that includes gadgets and tech toys could be an ideal match.

Come on bro don't be heartbroken already!! You've been blogging since last month (your archives say that) and in this niche life will not be easy. Keep on blogging and forget about adsense for a month or two. Build a blog for the visitors, be unselfish and try to guest blog if you can find em. This will bring visitors and authority and with time... traffic! And traffic will bring you what you want, adsense income I guess. Keep us updated and don't give up amigo! Now stop reading this thread and go write a post on your blog!! Lol. Best of luck! Happy blogging!

Yeah, don't pressure yourself and adsense at the same time. Take a break and don't try too hard to post as much.

Callmeminty, your site is good and content is also good but the traffic is extremely low. Keep creating great contents and also start marketing. See if you can hit the front page of digg. Read more about social media marketing. You you get traffic, you will make money. If your traffic is not good for AdSense, you can get money from other sources. But the key is traffic.

Traffic is important for earning and rely more on targeted, organic traffic from search engines. That is the way for better monetization of your blog

Making money with a blog is a real challenge. The right blog, on the right topic, with the right ad placement might make it, but most don't. Blogs tend to have repeat visitors who become blind to ads. They tend to see the same ads every time they visit the blog. They might click an ad on the first visit or two, but not on later visits. So, in order to make money you would have to have a lot of traffic, and a lot of new visitors every day.

    Some simple steps:

    1. Content
    2. Content
    3. Content
    4. Content
    5. Content
    6. GoTo 1

Compare web site to TV. Who will watch boring talk show? Who will advertise on boring talk show?

Take it easy, do some good marketing and buy a porper domain as it will help returning users quite a lot to remember your site and how to access it time after time.
