    I certainly hope so, too many of such useless threads makes navigating the already difficult General Chat much more difficult. Wonder if the mods can clear up those 10 post, 100 post, 200 post self congratulatory messages. It adds nothing to even General Chat. What is there to chat about your 100 posts? Although it gave a lot of others a chance to post congrats and increase their post counts.
