This is how DP treats it's users when they complain about security?

    Hello!

After getting another spam PM from winifredk I don't feel sorry at all for yelling about Digital Point's security issues.

This time I will also make a suggestion. I suggest that for one to be able to send a PM he must have made at least one post to the forum - which means that I am proposing to Digital Point to make users make a introductory post, obligatory.

And here are the reputation comments dated Oct 20th 2008 I got for this thread:
Well... is this how Digital Point behaves to its users?
I am expecting an official answer to this.

    1) You'll get more -rep for complaining (not from me, though)
    2) Your suggestion has been suggested before, and REJECTED
    3) If you get spam, forward it to a mod.

The moderation staff can not be held responsible for each and every rep comment made by the members of the forum.

We ask that you forward any PM spam that you receive to a moderator and we will deal with it from there.

And it's not that your suggestion has been rejected, it's just that moderators don't have the power to make that change in the way the forum works. Shawn is the only one that can do it. Until he decides to make that change, there is no other way that we have to deal with the PM spam.
