I have been making a lot of money from affiliate marketing, but not quite enough to where I give up my day job... Well more of a part time job for extra cash. My goal is to write at least 500 good quality articles by the end of the summer. I will also be writing a lot on my blog as well about what I am doing, so others can choose to follow me. Ever since I started internet marketing. I actually now enjoy writing. I didn't do that great in high school, but if I were to go back I would have straight A's in probably all my classes. Internet Marketing has definitley disiplined me to the point where more work = more money, and the more you practice the better you will become. For those who are just beginning to market, and for those who are my age (18 years old) and all ages, if you take on a venture like this take it all the way and don't give up. You learn so much from promoting products, it helps you deal with things in the real world as well, and teaches you how to grow something. However the internet is probably one of the best oppurtunties to get rich quick. Selling information online is probably the quickest way to become rich, wheather you are an affiliate or publisher. Remember try many many things, and you will succeed. The main attitude that is the hardest to overcome is "well if I write this article what if it doesn't make any sales", or "write this book and affiliates don't like it" this is something that you HAVE to get rid of, stop thinking negativley. "Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get your anywhere" Good Luck! Oh, by the way right now I am making about $50-$100/day with ppc and some articles. For those who are interested in knowing.

I target the best niches. www.cbtrends.com Those are the niches I target (most viewed ones). I won't tell you what products I promote exactly, but I promote mainly HIGH GRAVITY products. I already in the past have written about 30 articles. What I like to do is open up word, write as many articles as I feel like, then I submit them all. I don't submit them one by one by one. Also take your time when writing articles. Its embarrising to write about something, and for one. Not know about it, and 2 not proof read it. I recommend you do some research on a product that you are going to promote, or maybe even purchase the product and read and actually use it. This will be even more credible. So if you are going to promote a six pack abs product. Why not read the product, get six pack abs, and then promote the affiliates product, while working on your own product?
great thread, i hope you reach your goal. re: getting straight A's in school now - I agree! I wasnt great at english at school but now after IM i think im really good at writing! (persuasive writing) Intertnet marketers are smart people
Eric, Keep up the wonderful job in Internet Marketing! This shows that persevering in this industry will get you somewhere! It will not get you somewhere fast, but it will get you only to where you want it to get you! There are many successful internet marketers out there, and the thing is, just keep kicking out the articles, or keep being hardcore with learning your PPC strategies.
