This is frustrating!

I filtered out some ads over 2 hours ago, and they're still running on my site! The "10 minutes" is BS. Google Adsense has been all around frustrating today. I wonder if they are starting to roll out the new changes.

Is it the first time you filter ads? Could it be a mistake on your part or not possible?

When you added the URL you wanted to filter out, did you submit it both way's? With and without the "www"?

Maybe you are filtering the URL that appears within the ad, it happens sometimes that this URL is different from the real URL where the visitor will be sent when he clicks...

I suggest you use the adsense preview tool to find the URL that you should use when filtering ads.

I did it without the www and checked it three times. It also was not within the ad, I used the Google adsense preview tool AND I used right click, proprties to find the ad url as well.

I just checked again, and now they seemed to be filtered out. I wonder why it took so long??? Anyway, thanks for the help and all is fine now.

Although 10 minutes is the normal time for the filter to come in to effect, sometimes google takes its own time to get its act together. But never feel at ease since you have filtered unwanted ads because there are many mfa ads competing to smart price you. Have an eye on them forever :)
