This is for the people that UPGRADED from Windows XP to VISTA.

My friend reinstalling vista as he downgraded to XP before.

Anyway, when you install Vista, you know that all the current files go into a folder called "WINDOWS.OLD" But i want to know will all his programs and documents still work fine?

My friend asked me this, and i have no idea as i never tried.

    Thanks.

There's XP Compatibility mode for things... :)
There are lots of things that work for the 32 bit (which is standard, these days), but the 64 bit has less compatibility for a few programs... There wasn't any big problem when I switched. :)
