    Well bro I dont know about those guys, but I consider myself a pretty smart guy.;) And that site is pretty intense. ya know,;) I think it has a high pr because there was some leftover PR. from the PR fairy, but these guys couldn't tell you that.. haha

    Im under the impression that the length of time and quality of content can also cause high page rank. But then again, I sometimes wonder if its all just random and biased and we've all been caught into this game in which somebody is laughing really hard. *shrugs*

    Whois states creation as 2004-04-13 and archive goes as far back as oct 2004.

    I have old (2000-2001) domains that have PR3, 4 + 5 with almost no links and the same content since then. They dont rank well though.

    Then there must be some sort of cap where how high the rank can go without any work. Its just a theory anyway

    It depends on the competitiveness of the term I would say. But Im sure you take an old domain add content + links and it will rank very well.
