Hi,

I was wondering if anybody knows how
to limit the number of words in a preview
post. Meaning how to make it so the blog
posts are actually the begging of the original
post... on the home page....?

You should be able to do this with the Advanced Excerpt plugin for WordPress. It will let you limit excerpts by word count.

I use the best way to do it. There is a plugin called HIDEPOST. Just use it and you can limit your posts and the words wherever you like. Not even for a contant word count. Enjoy. Its the best and it works great for me.
