"This is a test ad"

Are you guys getting this? I also see it here at dp

Im not sure what you are trying to say. Where are you seeing this?

 

it shows on all my ads.... go to [canonites dot com] and all my google ads are sowing 'this is a test ad'

Strangely, I'm not seeing any adsense ads — on DP as well. Methinks something is broken at Google HQ.

 

I haven't noticed this at all today on any sites. Is it OK for you guys yet?

I think this is geo-targetted since the "Test Ad" i am seeing is from Dell.ca
which is a canadian site..

I took out the adsense in the front, because it doesnt look good

I was getting the same thing "TEST AD" on my site as well...but it only happened when I switched to putting a large to medium rectangle or square at the top left hand corner of my site while doing some testing. As soon as I switched to a smaller ad (small square), I no longer got those "TEST ADS" showing up, but rather relevant ads...like I originally wanted.

Not sure why this happened only with trying to put a larger ad up, but switching over to a smaller ad seemed to take care of it.

 

It is not a test Ad, just another Marketing Strategy by Dell Canada.

Nah, I think it is an error.

The ad appears everywhere on my site. Also on DP. No other ads show.

Weird — and I am losing revenue!

 

I really thought it was a marketing gimmick from dell. I have been to many sites today and seen the same ad and it is always for dell.

 

seen it since last night on my site, it's an ad by dell.ca the one that i saw, still showing a few today but the 728x90 has an dell cpm ad image by this morning, tho the 468x60 still saying the 'test ad' thing and i checked the site targeted $ they are great (i believe they are cpm so i checked that ... maybe not related)

 

It's really getting me mad! Loosing revenue for some stupid CPM ads is definitely NOT okay...

Going to go block dell now

 

no no i think it still counts impression (cpm), since i see my earning is around the same level and the ad is clickable afterall.

 

The only experience iv had with CPM ads is they pay LOW, especially when it's bigger companies not specifically advertising on your website.

 

Yeah I noticed this crap today. And what's with CPM ads, I thought all adsense was CPC?? (except for the new CPA stuff)

 

i like big company cpm ads for a reason, it is because they pay higher than my smart priced clicks ><
