I'm just posting this for anybody who is looking for a cheaper solution to aWeber or GetResponse. This way if anybody searches the forum they will find this thread. I have been using OptinZip for a while and it is a very good service. I actually think it is by aWeber. But anyway, its a good service and its a lot cheaper. Its just optinzip.com
Not to thread hi-jack - But another one if your just starting out is http://www.newzapp.co.uk/pricing.asp The 'flex' package is free, and good for up to 200 emails a month. I haven't tried/tested this.
Ya OptInZip is private label of aweber so its the same thing expect its running on the old pricing scheme which means you do not get the new email analytics. http://www.aweber.com/email-analytics.htm There is also: http://automateyourlist.com/ and http://profollow.com Both of them are the same as OptInZip.
I prefer MailChimp. Rammed full of features but free for upto 500 subscribers. Prices after that are very reasonable.
I agree... Get email autoresponders that have zero chance of getting through SPAM filters. That will really get your business moving. Why do you think people us Aweber. Because it works. If it didn't work do you think people would be not trying to find the cheaper alternative.
That sounds good, I trust them if it is by aWeber. Just sometimes aweber is a little pricey so it is smart of them to have cheaper versions, even if it is a little bit less features. Thanks for the info.
Really thats very promising then, I really love the idea of first 500 subs free, aWeber should do that. It would get a lot more people into Email marketing. Just looked into it, their delivery rate looks very promising. http://www.mailchimp.com/page/deliverability/ And they have very similar features to aweber include the new email analytics, I am going to use these guys. Thank you Ashrio. http://www.mailchimp.com/blog/your-list-activity-score-and-deliverability/
do any of these conform to adwords landing page terms? I mean autoresponders are great but if they are a pop up they are useless for advertising with adwords.
Autorepsonders and popups have nothing to do with each other in terms of Google Adwords. Nor does a pop-up on a webpage has anything to do with an autoresponder. An autoresponder is an email program system that provide automated message follow-up to your mailing list. Now, you can embed an email form to get people to sign up on a webpage (landing page, squeeze page, blog, and any static HTML webpages). It can be in the form of a pop up or not. A pop up is a new webpage that opens within your page -- the page can be an email form, a landing page, or whatever. Adwords is a PPC adveristing system -- and the Bot parse the content of your page, as to whether it's relevant to your keywords or not. Having a pop-up is fine as long as your landing page do not violate Adwords policy. In any case, test it for yourself.
that's a great, although rather long winded reply, but i think the reason i asked the question is so i did'nt have to drop the money to test only to find out it doesn't work for adwords. i used to see alot of aweber popup email forms used in websites that did PPC...but I don't see any anymore?? That's why I was wondering.....thanks
