Well some folks think that spyware is good, some folks think that trading their page views to look at a page rank gauge is good. To each his own, we all have to promote something.

Yea, I like looking at pictures of Elle MacPherson!

I like Shakira's music and the way she dances! Hottest woman on earth right now, the richest too!

Dig Led Zeppelin Live, did you get the DVD?

Right now I am listening to some Duane Allman Blues

I like to drink Scotch Wiskey and watch chicks dance, but at my age I can't drink as much since my belly gets upset.

But in my day I seen double a lot

Can you imagine the horror of looking across the bar and seeing two "Forum Snitch Baby Champions" or maybe two Google spies

Give me a 45 and let me kill myself right now

Maybe you should post the spyware stuff in a spyware related forum, because it's really old and tired here. I'm not really sure how many people here care at all.

I will tell you Shawn if you do a keyword analysis, that you would find that the keywords "Spyware" "Cookies" "Adware" are really hot!

Why don't you start a new subject here and see what it brings in?

There are plenty of popular keywords that I'm don't care about... britney spears, paris hilton, barbie, ben affleck, etc.

Doesn't mean this forum has anything to do with them, and generally I would imagine forum members don't care. if they did, they would be at a ben affleck fan club forum.

Well, Shawn, if you really believe that those keywords have nothing to do with modern computing then........................

There are lots of things that have to do with "modern computing" that I don't think forum members really care about. Circuit boards or hard drives for example.

Shawn, this is VERY important, since companies like Advertising.com (AOL just bought) track users across a website or websites, with very advanced tracking cookies.

This will affect the way ads are presented, sold and published in the future, so yes it is very important to all webmasters.

Well, if your definition of spyware is a cookie, then I agree... "spyware" is good.

Well, Shawn, if laws are passed limiting how they "cookies" can be used I think that will be GOOD.

You have things you think are GOOD and I have mine.

I knew you were one of "THEM" all along :D

I think tracking cookies will be of less value to affiliate advertising programs as users become more intelligent on the use of software.

If users delete cookies on a daily basis, no one will be able to get paid on any of the banners they run, so affiliate programs that depend on cookies to pay affiliates will be worth less and less down the road.
