** Yes mate I've noticed you less in the transactions reports :( - But no this was a one day incident and we were reported by a cb affiliate right away and they luckily called right away, I re-uploaded my index page and all was resolved. Was a bitch though had to change everything/passwords/clean PC's/reg files... I re-upload our index pages often as well just as a precaution now too. The pub does not get to keep the money that was stripped from the scammer (it was 3-4 sales), but it brings up a good question re where it goes.

Overall I'm seeing random changes in affiliates and people converting that weren't before and vice versa. Lately we haven't gotten any 'I can't order' emails, and our %ref. is still avg. I don't think tid's would be causing issues either - however this whole new firefox theory sounds interesting - someone that has access to a bunch of PC's should do some serious testing on every single variation they can think of to determine potential bugs...

Well duh, you're going to w3.cb-analytics.com which is an affiliate site (i.e. CB Analytics affiliate ID is =ooOoo).

Clear your cookies and click on your own link instead.

He did just well, I think you didn't understand what he said he did.

    He did the following

    1st He Cleared his cookies

2nd Went to http://www.cb-analytics.com/clickbank-product.php?id=EARTH4 which is an affiliate link, thus he was cookied with ooOoo as an affiliate

3rd Went to the checkout page and for the affiliate it said none, instead of saying ooOoo

Meaning there is some tracking problem

I tested a lot of links, don't see any problems. Plus my hops #s are pretty average...

For some idiotic reason, affiliate ID sometimes comes as normal, but sometimes it's like this > u641gg.9je

    Like random letters and numbers

May not be random :) Could be a BH'er creating an affiliate ID to make people think it's random.

You never know, it's hard to find what's causing the problem. It might be that you have some adware/spyware locally on your PC that is doing this.
It might be a publisher doing it, or it might be some clickbank issue.

Most cookie stuffers aren't dumb enough to stuff every visitor every visit. The more experienced ones will only cookie-stuff around 5% - 10% of visitors in order to keep a low profile and avoid being caught.
