Now i see why a lot of people which is freshly registred on dp is banned. They are not aware of that rule and they do several bumps in one day and that's lead to instant bump. Also i cant belive i got two bump infractions for SAME thread.I mean that doesnt have sense beacuse of slow react of moderator whatever who did this.Plus what i posted was not even bump i was only post to who i sold package which is very important to post beacuse of references(and i always do that). How will potencial buyer knows is package good or not?Well i guess best method is to use link in sig and post a lot to avoid rule breaking.

If there is no bumping rule people start digging up 1000 days old threads and this forum would've been a mess.

ALso it is not really important to mention that who you've sold your packages to. You can simply post their names when someone else asks a question in your thread. I don't think this is a big issue.

Yeah those who break rules usually think they suck ;)
For those not aware, well bumping is a bad thing on most any forum, plus there is a set of rules to read and many, many threads on this already.

jacobkell, I hate when people bump, especially when I am trying to sell a product, and someone else that is selling a product is bumping theirs, putting mine near the bottom of the page.

I am glad this rule is in place, if you just follow the rules, the forums would be clean and fair.

This forum is busy enough without threads getting bumped again and again. A bump is just another useless post, which deserve an infraction as well.

A bump is useless post with the sole aim of bumping the thread.

Bumping isn't necessary at all. You shouldn't have to bump your thread, if you are offering a good, quality service, people will continue to post in your thread - bumping it for you.

You could've asked your client to chime in your thread and inform others that they bought the package. Also, new members are banned not because of bumping threads, but rather because of their tom-foolery that goes around.

And honestly, we don't even require such members on the forums anymore, more PIA.

Again have you even thought that if there was no rule in place to check thread bumping, wouldn't the B/S/T section be in utter chaos ?

    P.S - Ever heard of Paragraphs ?

I've noticed a lot of people banned from here in the last few days- is that why?

You will be warned before you're banned, right? This newbie is a little scared...

Yes but what if let's say i post in morning and people who need my service wake up at noon and at the time thread falls at page 3 ?So those people wont see thread at all? Also commercial thread generaly fall very fast since no matter how atrractive is since there is no need for comment(bussiness is done over PM)and there is not much to talk.

If it's against the rules to post "PM Sent", it should also be against the rules so say "Post here to get it" for free things, they should just give a direct link.

Btw just in case if you didnt notice that was not issue, after all "PM sent" is breaking " no sense comment" rule not bumping rule.
