this is my story I've made a site 6 months ago my first one, and I've sold him to a friend in December. since then i've never did nothing! . now I'm trying to build another one and i wont to know, if this are the all ways to optimize him:

1. original content
2. link exchange
3. use good keywords

i think i've miss something but i dont know what !

are others ways ????

Well, put your URL in your signature, write articles, post press releases, and on and on. You have it down, but SEO is a very broad field - you need to put in quite a bit of work to see even the tiniest of results. http://www.seo-news.com is a good site that should help you in getting started.

I think you need to go into more depth about building links...

I use one way links, press releases, seo article distribution, media buys, and directory submission.

If you are doing that much the SERP's can't ignore you.

 

Other important things to do for on-site SEO are unique title and description meta tags and if you use images dont forget the alt tags

 

Example: IF you are working on a site about pimping cool cars, try to get a website with the keywords in it like www.pimpingcoolcars.com or www.pimpingcars.com, somewhere in that arena. Will certainly help you rank better.
