so there i am standing at the curbside with my buddy watching the traffic roll by, wondering if we will ever get across, when a small gap in the flow appears, in about a millisecond the speed of the car is calculated, the distance travelled and the time factor and the decision is taken to make a run for it. so whipping across the road and obviously taking a look at the drivers face as he waves at least one finger at you, if not the whole fist.. you realise that you ran alone Your mate is still standing the other side, waiting for at least a half hour gap to appear before he slouches across the road like a tortoise. so you took your life in your hands for what? so you can make no progress whatsoever, you just have to stand and wait, and watch, and look at all the possible gaps in the traffic until finally your mate makes it across. it's that earie silence after that's also a bit uncomfortable..like hell i am going to talk to him in the next few minutes !!!
Frogger taught us all very valuable life lessons: 1-You have to take your life into your own hands 2-In order to get laid, sometimes you have to walk thru traffic 3-Turtles are traitorous bastards and want you to die
I hate that myself. Sometimes i just run out of patience and start walking. You just need to find a gap in one lane of traffic and then stop right in the middle of the road looking for the gap and the other. In this case people tend to stop anyway.
just edge ya way out, in the end someone has to stop, either that or hit you (if they care they wont, if they dont your screwed ) you need to take every chance you get in life (even if its just about )
I always look at the guy that didn't go and say, "Heh, that guy's going nowhere in life...what a wimpy little putz!" And then if there's a puddle in front of him, I make him pay for not going accross with his friend.
SM, all this goes to show is this guy isn't a real friend. He would sell you out to alien overlords or let you get torn to pieces by zombies.
