Thirty - Young or Old???

Thirty today - is that young or old?

 

30 is still "old" to teenagers and twenty-something's. However, to me (31 yrs. old), I feel that I am just reaching my full potential. I'm still going up the hill - haven't reached the top yet - won't be over the hill till I'm dead. You are as young as you feel.

 

I totally agree. I've had several friends over 30 who had the energy of someone in their mid to early twenties.

 

I just turned 26 and 30 doesn't seem old any longer.

 

Thirty is niether young nor old, in a sense, it's middle aged.

 

You know i'd like to go with medium.. I'd have to say 30 falls in between young and old... Young is like 15, old is like 50 everything else is butter

I'm 34.576yrs old.

do I feel it: sometimes, more now than 7 yrs ago that is for sure.
do I act it: not even close!!!

I even know now what I want to be when I grow up

 

30's getting younger all the time as longevity increases. Notice that people having children at older ages too, though that is probably a function of finances.

 

according to me its not actually old,it all depends on the person as to how he thinks

 

As many people have pointed out,it is relative and varies from person to person.When you cross 30 IMHO,it is time to stop doing all the dirty things and start settling down.

In terms of capability 30 somethings are as young as 20 something.Infact some of the better known actors are into their 40's are still considered young n sexy enough to play roles where they chase women

 

30 is still reasonably young, go back 30/40 years, and no you would be getting old and most probaly lived 1/2 - 3/4 of your life. In todays generation, you are still young. I will be 30 soon in a few years time, I think when im 40 I will have hopefully lived only 1/2 my life.

No spring chicken and certainly not ancient, somwhere inbetween

 

It depends from persons to persons. 30 doesnt seem to be an older age. Most people at their 40th-50th age even do feel younger. In my opinion it is not old.

 

I don't agree with that 30 is old to "twenty-somethings" I'm 24, my fiance is 31 and I don't consider him old, even with the 7 year age difference. But to each their own I guess.

It depends on what country you are in. I have a friend from Sudan, they don't expect to live to see 45 in his region so 30 is quite old. Currently in the US, many 29 year olds are still teenagers in the way they work and live.

I'd say old started in my early forties when my arms started getting shorter (or things started coming with smaller print ) and when my eldest became a teenager.

 

i honestly think if your single at 30 , and aging slowly...thats the best time of ur life since u got the money and experience
