I been talking about this issue in another forum, but would like to know better what you guys at DP think...

You always hear that in third world countries people are earning 5 USD a day working...
Here's the thing...using adsense it is very possible to make USD5 a day. Now...

If a person living in say Vietnam (say Ho Chi Minh City) makes a month USD1000, and compare a guy living is say New York makes USD1000 a month using Google Adsense or any other online business.

The guy in vietnam could be living a better standard of living in his country compared to the guy in New York. Its all about making money in USD which has higher value compared to vietnam currency (or most of third world countries) and cost of living which is much lesser.

The new yorker going to have hard time to support his life with USD 1000 a month.

It takes lesser income requirement for third world countries internet marketer to start living from income generated in online business.

$1,000 a month for a guy in New York is a guy in poverty ;-)

In Vietnam, I'm sure it's very good. Not in the US...

PS - That software in your sig has a virus. Might want to check on that.

I agree with the point. I am engaged in charity to 3rd world countries, and do encourage them to enter this path. So if we want to help people in the 3rd world we could do them a great favor in respect to getting selfsupplied by directing them to Internet Marketing as an income option. But also look at how The Unselfish Marketer is doing it, residing in Thailand. :)

It is a definite advantage. There are many successful
internet marketers who have moved to places like
Singapore etc. just for those reasons.

Hey guys, what about 2nd world countries?

A year and a half ago, my wife and I visited Ukraine.
This country used to be called 'the bread basket' of
Eastern Europe because its land is so fertile.

Basically, the country was ruined by Communism.
The will of the people seems to be broken. Now, it is
'Mafia' controlled. A close friend of ours comes from
Ukraine and his brother has thought about going back,
but if you set up a business, the police want 50%.

However, with your $1,000 pm, you could by a farm,
pay people to work on it and build your house for you
and still afford the 50% erm.. tax! You would have a
    pretty good standard of living!

    What do you reckon?
