Thinkpad T500 Vista or XP?

    I recently bought a thinkpad T500 and it comes with Vista, which is not really up to my taste so I'm thinking of installing xp on it.

    Does anyone else here have t500 and tried installing xp on it? Any feedback is quite welcome!

    1 of my friend owns a Thinkpad T500... from what i know Vista works smoothly on it... although I'd still recommend you installing XP on it coz i kinda hate vista too :p

    yeah I hate it too. The laptop has 2GB memory and Vista takes about 4-5 min to load and IE gets stuck sometimes. But mostly it's all the useless soft they've added.
    Do you know anyone who successfully installed XP on T500? I wonder how the performance compares. Some say xp might even be slower on it.

    Id use xp, it got good compatability compaired to everything else.
