Thanks for that insight nemolist but some of us may enjoy being "loosers" and we are not all in it for the money. There's also the hours of fun you can have sifting through the hundreds of incorrectly submitted sites.

this is post for those young people, who are reading yours posts and think, that there is a lot of money to make. if you are an owner of directory, don't reply, it is not for you post.

i started a few directories some time back and am earning a few bucks here and there! 1) if you are in it for money you have lost it before you have even started! 2) if you think you can't make money, you are wrong agian! with hardwork and seo i guess making money with directories is not all that hard! but then if the message you have posted is for the QBC! then you are right!
Just because OP can't do something doesn't mean other people can't. It's a wide open field. If you put the necessary resources in, you can start a successful directory. If you're just looking for a quick buck, try something else. Well spotted
Next time you advise the newbies about starting a directory, how about you give them better advice. I think they need to know why they are wasting their time, why you can't make big money. Looks like that stupid post made your rep turn red.....
I am just curious, did you start a directory and because of incompetence, lose a lot of money? You seem to have a fixation on trashing directories all over the forum, is it that you are envious of others who have made money and are a success? I can see if you want to state your opinion, but looking through your posts, you spent almost your entire time on DP trashing directories. If they were not successful, people would quit creating them. At least if you have an opinion, give a legitimate reason for it.
If you spend as much time planning what you will write in your post as you do building your directory, please don't start a directory.
