Thinking to move to another country. What would you recommend about my directories?

    Hi to all directory owners,

Recently I was offered a job in another country( I will have to start in 2 months) which will make me very busy. I own couple of directories and they are all well maintained. I really care about my directories which takes me more time than normal.
I don't want to sell them at the moment because I already spent too much money on them. Do you think it is easy to get someone as an editor and do you recommend anyone?
If I have to sell them what and where would you recommend me to list them and is it better to sell 1 by 1 or as a package.

    Thanks for the help.
No posts out of topic please.

First of all Congrats that you got a job. Second its easy to get an editor but choose one who has reputation. Third if you want to sell then sell them one by one, coz as a package lots of ppl will ask for discount.

You could list them in B/T/S here, but you might get a better price at Sitepoint.

Sell them through Sitepoint one by one or as package if you don't have much time. Best of luck with your new job.

If you really love them then I guess you should hold on to them.

I personally cannot recommend an editor, but you are sure to find one who can take care of your directories for you

Sell them 1 by 1, and we will see how niche directories do in terms of sales :)

Please once you decide to sell them, announce it here (DP), I might be interested.

I would recommend you to keep them alive with you. You could work on your directories atleast on weekends for sure.

And a paid link approval may not take much time. A bit of extra revenue shouldn't hurt you that much.

With the current season of attitude towards directories, I am sure you won't make big bucks out of your directory sale.

Thanks for all recommendations. As I told I have 2 months which is enough time to decide.
Even if I decide to sell them I wouldn't sell under value (at least maybe I can try to get some offers),
better if I keep and find someone to look after them. It is not only one paid directory,
I have free niche directories which needs attention and time.
If anyone knows a good editor please let me know.

I would keep them as long as you can then sell one by one.
