Thinking to make subscription invite-only for my business network. Your thought?

    I have a business and career network for people who study, work or have business , but, so far, most members join to spam and it is making me feel as I am wasting my time.

    I am thinking to make it invite-only by me or by members' recommendations

    I thought I'll hear you opinions to see whether is it will work.

    I prefer to have one new serious member a day rather than many time wasters

    Yes i vote for second option.Coz spammer only will spoil the ideal network and it bring no good.
    It will work if you have a large loyal member that will contribute to your site

    I'm not trying to be negative, but I'm willing to bet that the main reason people come to your forum is for self-promotion. Try as you might, people are gonna try to get their message out regardless of any "rules" against self-promotion. Good Luck.:)
