Thinking of starting a SMALL adwords campaign

I'm thinking of starting an adwords campaign (first time user) regarding the site in my sig. No, I'm not going after the big mucho popular terms.

From what I've read, it seems it would be wiser for me to target the affiliate product mentioned on my site instead of my site itself as the landing page.

    Thoughts?

Debt/credit restoration is a tough market. I didn't see the product you mentioned....what is it?

It's a tough market and finding those phrases may not be easy, but it's definately possible. I know a few people making some decent $ by promoting similiar products via PPC marketing.

Start small and test test test!

Always direct to the most relevant page. Adwords costs money so don't waste your links.

What I would do - I would not send the traffic neither to your current site, nor to your affiliate site. Why?

I see that you have a newsletter or course, and you collect email addresses of your visitors. So, set up a landing page with the sign up form and without any other links, exept perhaps a link to privacy policy, disclaimer, contact us.

Sell yourself - list all the benefits you can think of in your landing page in order to make people sign up. If you could create a couple of landing pages and split-test them - it would be perfect.

If you can achieve at least 20-30% visitor to sign up conversion rate it would be great. Why do that?

You can contact your leads not once with your affiliate link, but send them multiple offers. Only make sure to build some trust first by providing them with the information that they WANT!

    I hope this helps.
