Thinking Of Starting A Blog - Worth my Time?

I'm thinking of starting a personal blog relating the my web design business and the experiences I go through as I grow it.

I would either buy a unique domain name or do it as a subdomain of my web company address.

    Is it worth my time?

I'd probably use wordpress, as I like the features.

That depends why your doing it, if it's to make money probably not without a lot of hard work. Give it a go as it takes very little time to start with a default template, then judge whether it's worth your time or not in a month or so.

I think it is worth it. If you have the server to host it on, you really can't lose much and it is a nice outlet sometimes to just write about things that are on your mind. I would use WordPress or Moveable Type rather than blogger.com's deal. I really like WP.

Use it as main domain but as a "module" to the index . php - otherwise if it is important to be sub to the other domain do that

    It keeps "fresh" material upfront

Word Press is SE friendly and controllable against SPAM so should be of choice :)
