Thinking of Leaving Wordpress

I've been thinking of leaving WP for a while now, simply because I don't want to pay for web hosting in order to get Adsense, and I can't seem to muster up the 25,000 views each month that they require for rev-share.

    Is blogger a viable option?

I would think so, given that Blogger is owned by Google :)

Are you talking about WordPress.com? Why don't you buy a hosting account for yourself and install WordPress. This will give you 100% freedom. Self-hosted WordPress is much better than blogger.com blog.

Of course you can use Blogger, but, Personally I think that you are a taking a step backwards and taking your chances for success with your blog backwards.
If you move to blogger you will be starting all over with what ever traffic and SEO you have now. You are also giving up your freedom and control to develop your blog in any way that you want.

I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with Blogger, but moving merely because of hosting fees, which are extremely cheap, you are in fact giving up and admitting that you don't think that you can make your current blog successful...so what makes you think moving to blogger will be any different?

Having a successful blog takes time, and some money.
I would first determine if adsense is even the best solution for monetization in the first place. Most people are not successful with it or only make peanuts.
There are many other ways to monetize. You shouldn't make such a drastic decision based on one program.without exploring what else you can do to make what you have successful.
