i'm thinking of learning php because i don't really like the idea of having to keep getting coders to code stuff for me, but first i was wondering if it was a must to learn html? i know this might seem like a stupid question but yeah i'm asking it. and how are some good ways to learn php and get good at it?
Yes, learn HTML first. If you find HTML hard then you will find php to be much harder. And it is 100% neccesary to understand HTML if you are going to write coded web pages.
the only thing is i don't really want to create anything in html, want to create in php, i want to create an advanced image rating website. :/
HTML and CSS are what you'll use to build the presentation of the website though. You have to learn HTML if you're going to make web apps. -the mole
