Thinking of giving up - Any last ditch possibilities?

Due to the growing number of MySpace related websites on the net, I am considering selling my domain. I bought the domain package (Domain + 2 yrs of hosting) for around $170. I submitted my site into at least 75 directories, and currently have over 30 link exchanges. Although my site is fairly new, there's the big timers out there with 6 MySpace related sites with a constant 500+ people on each that bring in 50k+ uniques each day. So yeah, they pretty much dominate the ...community? I don't know, I've thought about buying traffic, but I'm not sure if it will be worth my money. Any thoughts?

If you can sell your developed site and make enough money to feel like you were paid for your time and property then I say go for it. Unless you don't mind holding the name and site for a couple more years to see if any offers come in. Or give it one more go with advertising, go the advertising section and ask for tips possibly?

If you bought recently, I hope you didn't overspend. Myspace resource sites have been played out for a while now.

I bought the domain in November along with many of my MySpace whore friends. They succeeded and are now the ones that are making thousands per day and so on..

if you cant invest the time, might as well cut your losses if you can move the money into a more profitable area. That is the sensible thing to do. Can't win 'em all.
