www.nameboy.com can generate useful some useful ones,
but don't believe it when it says that they are available, some are not.
    Check Namecheap.com for availability.

You could also try different extensions. NewBands.us is available. Or you can usually find decent names with the .info extension as well.

    Hello,

I like using justdropped.com, or the auctions at godaddy and enom.

    Good luck

It's a little time-consuming... but I still use a thesaurus and dictionary to find most of my names. Once I've chosen a single word to focus on... I'll use these to help find a second word or phrase to finish it off.

It's not for everyone, but there you go.

That's also my approach. Well, I don't exactly go through the dictionary, but more often than not I try to get a two or three word combination that's at least partly on topic. I avoid hyphens and numbers as much as possible.

I'm trying to come up with a new name right now, but inspiration isn't striking.

{Step1}Think of what you are making the domain for, if it is a site for listing new Bands, then keep in mind the domain must be in connection with new bands

{Step2}Think of relevant keywords like, you already have new and bands, so these are the keywords.

{Step3}Check for your domain if newbands.com is not available try goodnewbands.com hotnewbands.com supernewbands.com greatnewbands.com and I am sure you will have some good domains in your hand.
