Thinking about doing one site on Health in english, can you tell me if the CPC is ok?

Hi, I'm thinking of doing a site similar to best reviewer but dedicated to health topics, in english, can you share with me if the CPC is good with adsense?

I've chosen this topic of health because it is good for what I'm looking for, mass traffic, since everyone on the internet is a living being and as such is subject to health issues.

But could you please tell me your experience from running a health related blog/site with adsense? What about the CPC and CTR ? And does the high competition between webmasters makes it hard to get traffic for your site? Just in general terms, is it worth it?

It is worth only if you are good in the niche.

 

What do you mean if I'm good on the niche? I'm not a doctor neither I am interested in health more than the average person. But my site will be similar to my site best reviewer, that is the content will not be mainly submitted by myself but by other people who have blog/sites related to health niche.

I'm interested in the money potential of this niche.. But I'm not sure about that. Another niche would be everything related to money.
I think there are 3 things for mass appeal that can be good it's money, health and relationship topics..
I don't know exactly why I want to choose health over the two others, but I have not more or less interest in the other two topics, it will be equal for me.

So that's why I'm asking for your opinion and possibly return of experience if you have first hand experience in having sites/blogs related to this topic and adsense.

 

I think if you can write Health related articles its good.
Maintain at-least 2 blogs for increase your Adsense earnings. Because of if you receive 2$ for one blog and you have 2 blogs you can get approximately 4$ per day. ( imagination)

 

I can't really write health related articles, I mean I could, by doing some little research and simply rewrite what I've researched.
But the format of my site will be like a top 10 list. For instance top 3 ways to cure acne, and simply point to solutions, so it's not that hard to do and most of the content will be written by others anyway.

I'm now thinking about doing two separate sites, one about health the other about money.. I'm simply needing some motivation because it's not as easy as copy and paste, I need to actually work on the sites for several hours, probably days for each until I can rest a little and start the promotion period..

 

You should go for it. But just keep in mind that health is a competitive niche.

 

Yes, I'll keep that in mind, it will be the first time ever that I do a site in this niche, I don't know what it will mean in terms of traffic, if it will be really low because all my pages will be deep down in google results..
I understand it will be more complicated for me to generate traffic, especially since I don't know yet the level of quality of content, but I suspect it to be pretty low..

Also as I said I'm planning to do at the same time another one based on "money" because in this niche I have done sites before (a couple) and I know the CPC to be high, that's for sure. But here again there is high competition depending on the sub categories (like insurance, loan, etc) but I guess there'll be enough to make the site profitable anyway.

Doing 2 sites at the same time will take me less than doing them at one month interval, because I can do them like in a chain work, only the topic and a few graphic elements will change, but the basis is the same. Only after the structure is made, the members will be invited and the content submitted. I wish I was already at that stage, not at the building stage

 

Finally I'll be creating 3 new ones.. health, money and travel.. I already got the domain names and install the basic Drupal on them. That's a lot of work to do at the same time because it's not a simple matter of copy and paste, I need to build the sites on Drupal and different modules, so each configuration I need to do 3 times, and also when creating the dynamic pages, the texts that need to be changed slightly, finding the different categories for each topics, etc..
Of course I hope that some day soon I'll be done with that and it'll be promotion time and starting to make some money with them.. Will be slow I'm sure, but by the end of the year I'll be glad to have done the work in september, I think.
