Selling ThinkEducation(.)ca Educational WP Website For Sale

This domain was a PR5, due in large part, to the strength of the incoming backlinks. The domain was dropped, I bought it and acted swiftly to take advantage of the backlinks.

While developing this site, in webmaster tools, it was brought to my attention that there were 33 crawl errors from the previous domain owner's site. Obviously, with the domain having dropped, the spiders weren't going to find the site urls.

I took immediate action and did a 301 redirect in .htaccess for each individual url. Redirecting those url errors to various existing pages on the site. I used WP-Robot to pull articles, and WP-Uniquifier to help the content appear unique to the spiders. I also created unique about and contact pages. There is also a sitemap and a privacy policy.

I cannot include WP-Robot in the sale, keeping within the TOS of the plugin, but it should be easy enough for you to add an article or two per week to keep the spiders coming back.

Next, we talk about the superbly premium domain name. ThinkEducation.ca. That's got an amazing ring to it. It's registered with Godaddy and doesn't expire until the end of March 2011.

With the combination of both the PREMIUM domain name and the built in backlinks, if you throw a unique page of content or two up every week, you will most likely have a PR5 or PR6 site in a matter of 3-4 months.
