The first time was my fault, I was young, 2 years ago. I found the individual on a Graphics site.

I wanted something simple & I took someone's word for being "their word", and after I sent $400 via paypal, I never heard another thing back. After 3 months, I finally received my money back from paypal after a ton of emails back & forth from their fraud staff.

The Second time was through this website: http://www.coltonharris.net/

I posted an ad on craigslist needing a web designer & coder, and he replied claiming to be the owner of that site & it was his portfolio. He had the email accounts & all the contact info was accurate. I actually met this guy in O.C. N.J. face to face on a Sunday afternoon at a local restaurant!!! I told him what I wanted, gave him $500 upfront once he said no problem & after he showed me his alleged work. He sent me a ton of logo's & artwork for about 2 weeks, told me he was going to begin putting it all together using a joomla program. But then he needed another $500 to finish. I agreed because of the work he was showing me such as this: [IMG]

He said he wouldn't need the last $500 until the site was finished, polished & online. Then with my $1000, he vanished! I called his phone, disconnected. I emailed him continuously, no response. I tried asking around town about him, nothing.

The Third time, was through this website which I found through another website I visit daily. This is the 3rd Scam: http://enonestudios.com/

Seriosously. I contacted the individual on the above site & asked For BOTH a Web Designer & Graphic Designer who could design & code and put together a Professional gaming site I needed. He asked for $100 bucks upfront, which he received, and then payment after full completition because of my situation. I was LOVING & WANTED everything I was seeing: [IMG]

After I see all of this work, the individual asks me for $1,000 - $1,500 via paypal before he continues! After being scammed twice & him going against what he told me all of the sudden, I simply tell him my circumstances & say no. I told him simply to finish the work, put it up online, & I would pay the full amount with no problem at all! He finally agrees after fighting with me for 4 days. I gave him my name & number at work because he tired to act like I had no job or money & I was possibly scaming him out of his precious time & work! (I know)

Then, a week later, he contacts me & admits he doesnt know how to code anything. He was trying to screw me too. He was going to sell me the/his design for a bundle of money, then ditch out on me. He wasn't even going to forward his "coder" on his "team" to me to finish!

Is anyone out there who can complete a project that is 75% finished because of the examples in front of you, and my text content files saved??? I mean, is there anyone out there who is kind, hard working, honest, and serious? Thats how I was raised. Sure no one is perfect, but is the online web development community really this horrific??? Is 95% of everyone out there dirt?

Can anyone salvage me & this situation?
