Think I should use the competitive ad filter?

    I'm working on a new site, wrongstars.com. It isn't finished yet but I put in some Adsense ads while I work on the layout and color scheme. The purpose of the site is to give out gag horoscopes everyday.

    Anyway virtually every ad Google runs is horoscope related. On the one hand my target audience are not going to be hardcore astrologers, so I might do well to ban the horoscope ads and hope for gaming and humor-related ads. On the other hand people who ARE looking for a serious horoscope site might immediately click on one of those links when they find my page. Any opinions?

    Decide which keyword do you want to target. If it is horoscope related, then leave it as such. If not, then use the targeted keyword in your title, metatag, h1 and distribute them evenly in the contents without spamming.

    Hmm. The trick is most of the text on my page is the horoscopes which can't really include specific keywords.....have to give that one some thought.

    Actually I know what I can do, the only thing pegging my site as a Zodiac site is the Aries, Virgo, etc typed over the horoscopes. If I change them into images then Google will have to find other keywords :)

    Even better, I just found these little gems:
    <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->

    At the end, place this comment:

    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

    If they work it should solve my problem nicely :)
