I'm new to this domain ( article directories ) and I would like to hear some tips everybody should know for a better success, and of course SE positions with article directories. I want to avoid any mistakes. Thanks
Here are a few suggestions for you. 1. Choose the title of your article carefully. Try to use your target keywords. 2. Borwse through the directory to be sure that you are submitting to the most relevant category. 3. Most directories allow up to three urls in author resource. For one of these always use the plain URL. Many webmasters will republish your article without going through the trouble of making your links active. If you do this you will avoid some instances of your article being used without including your URL. 4. Write a useful and informative article that people will like to read. Do not write a 'sales presentation' for your site, product or service.
you can submit one article to multiple sites, but try to submit the unqiue version of the article to each site. it makes difference. bear
Good advice In addition, most directories do not allow links within article body. Therefore, you can only include live links in the author resource box.
Yes, that is a good addition to my advice, I should have mentioned that. Do keep an eye out for the ones that allow links in the article body and take advantage of the chance to get an in content link when you can.
Here's a list of don'ts Don't press return at the end of every sentence, allow text to wrap normally Don't write the title, or your name, all in capitals Don't use pre-formatted text, ie between <pre></pre> tags, and avoid the use of most HTML Don't compose the article of huge blocks of text. Use paragraphs. Don't use PLR articles without editing Don't write an advert, where you say such & such is necessary, and our company provides it. Write a general article, and leave the advert for the resource box Don't spam the article with keywords, usually unrelated to the topic, trying to write for better SEO. If you writing about, for example, Hair Extensions, don't tag NYC on the end every time Don't have the resource box links unrelated to the article topic Basically, write the article for people to read first, not for search engines Just some examples of why articles can be rejected EDIT: It can be useful submitting articles to sites like Article Marketer first, as they do check most of this stuff before approving an article. Then, release it elsewhere.
Before you write the articles, research the keywords for ones with high cpc and low compettion. Submit to directories with high pr and ensure that your url in the resource box is working after submission. Do not submit to several directories in a day - spread them gradually.
Can anyone suggest some good article submission sites - and equally some bad ones to avoid? I have looked at a number of them and many of them seem to be clones of each other and are obviously owned by the same people. Is there any point in submitting to several sites that are all owned by the same people?
It is my opinion that you would be better off in selecting just one or maybe a couple article directories to go with. One of the very best is ezinearticles.com
One more point - don't be tempted to 'borrow' sections from someone else's article. The better submission sites have ways of detecting this . . .. and you will be caught.
Here are few suggestions before submitting to article directories 1. In article writing, there are three key benefits why you are promoting them; branding, lead generation and promotion, which are all part of your optimization efforts. You must identify your target audience and what kind of topic to write about. 2. Writing your description and with unique title . Make sure the grammar and spelling is right 2. Submit to top level domain or directories 3. Dont used listing as your promotional tools. 4. Dont use title that dont reflect your site. 5. Avoid using marketing slogan Click this link about Article Submission. http://ezinearticles.com/?Things-Yo...s-That-Would-Help-You-to-Get-Listed&id=320746
Also, dont submit the same article you add to your site on the other sites. Always have a separate version of the article that you submit to article sites.
