    Will the google adwords improve page rank ? I have tried google adwords. But didn't succeed. Page rank gone when moved to custom domain !!

    I would like to add that with the Mayday update people are re thinking longtail keywords. Building links to longtail pages seems to be the only way to regain your losses.
