Hi, Can you tell me what's latest in Link Building? I know directory submission and article submission are out dated; apart from this, what else is working Thanks
Guest writing/posting on other blogs of the same niche. Broken linkbuilding Buying expired domains with relevant backlinks. PBN's. (Private Blog Networks) Possibly advertising. It's pretty much down to those five that you can actively do. Ideally, you create really good and interesting content and (hope that) people will link to your it. That's about it for linkbuilding these days. Some people hack other peoples' sites and create their own backlinks, which I think is the blackest of black hat SEO. The other types of linkbuilding, profile and directories, etc, are short-lived and could be a problem in the long run.
As you know, after web design you need to optimize and SEO, one of the most important steps is to build a backlink. But be aware that you should create links that are not deleted.
I agree with Arun. First off find competitors in your niche that are successul. Study their backlinks what works for them should work for you. Seek to replicate the best links they have.
As for me, the best for google is Crowd marketing: Only natural, organic, authority and manual backlinks on trusted websites.
In 2018, you could try guest posting submission, it is very effective to keyword ranking and website traffic, and also can check news share website and do not forget your competitor back link.
As said all other before, check competitors backlinks and try to do the same. Furthermore, try to create outstanding infographics + guest posts + check some cases from Backlinko.
You want a good mix of lower and higher quality to keep it looking natural. I go for a few paid editorial links or guest post for free to target the best links and keywords. I also suggest my articles or information as worthy links in others blog posts, your quality must be high for this to work and be prepared to pay occasionally. Don't be afraid to add the odd good quality directory, some are still good but make sure it is specific to your sites niche and that it hasn't been badly spammed already. Add in the occasional blog comment for both follow and no follow links, again they should only be relevant to the blog post. Get yourself some presence on social media, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are good as this will help you develop a few natural links from people seeing your articles and site. I also do some broken link building, this can be time consuming and you need something to help you find the broken links first, I use Ahrefs, and then approach and suggest your link as a suitable replacement.
You could always hire out and leave it to the pros, people buy links all the time, you'll even see some places advertised here on DP. And... there is a notice when you enter this forum to not advertise your services here so you know people do it. Just a thought, some people have the money to invest.
I have been doing guest post and skyscraper technique. Aside from content curation, citation and forums
The general idea is to make unique topics/articles that people will want to link to. Once you think you have one that fits that criteria well enough, get around to sharing it on sites of a similar niche.
