Publishing a new website is a tough work, but if you don't promote it efficiently then its crawling may be slow, so slow that you will start resigning your project. Of course, you should wait the periodic google update to notice the difference, but there are many things you can do to optimize your results. I have written my own checklist of things to do when opening a new website. It's my own tutorial based on my experience, so it's not meant to be a bible since I'm not a guru at all; I just give my point of view on how things should be done, giving references to what most successful people did or said about the topic. Please let me have your thoughts about it I am thinking to write an ebook about my whole experience as webmaster covering all the important aspect, and I will write more tutorials apart from this trying to cover all the peculiar aspects I have studied in my experience. Moreover, I hope to help newcomers to have a reference guide from where to start their study. Definitely, this forum along with others was essential to understand and learn about all I wrote on the guide, so my further suggestion is to keep reading this resource, and you will learn lots!
