Does the fact that most of them stayed within the 'rules' for making expenses claims mean that the majority of MPs aren't corrupt? Surely most of them must have realised that whether or not it was within the rules, half of their claims were ridiculous. So even if they're not legally corrupt you've got to question their moral integrity. Having said that, given the dreadful voter turnout in this country, and the fact that all too many people would claim to have their moat cleaned if they had the chance, I don't think too many people have got a moral high horse to sit on.
