Thickbox - need help

Hi all,

I think this might be the best place to ask.

I'm looking for some help implementing thickbox, I have tried to follow the tutorial on the site but with no luck. There's obviously something I'm missing.

I have manged to set it working with an image, upon clicking on the image but I'm wanting to put a image and a simple form, name and email address into the thickbox window. I am also wanting it to load up so its the first thing people see when coming to the site.

Is this possible?

 

Does anyone know who to do this?

 

There are some excellent ThickBox plug ins in the jQuery community. I think it is past the point for most people where implementing this from scratch is that interesting - unless you are doing it as an intellectual excercise - go with a solution that is tested cross browser.

If you need special requirements - you can always customize from that point.

 

I'm still trying to learn, I have managed to get an auto pop up in firefox but not in IE7, any ideas?
