well it's like that, you have a totally hot chick thas been with 50 guys in the past month and then you have one that noone wants. Which one would you prefer shit ... why do I keep going back to that topic
eBay keys on every keyword possible, I have done searches on my own name and have seen eBay links that said Buy AnthonyCea at eBay They got all the bases covered at every PPC engine out there, could have also been an affiliate that is running that stuff with his link in those ads. One can do a search on any PPC engine on any keyword and an eBay text link will pop up somewhere in the search
Hmm... dunno, man, it's a bit like nitrous or normally aspirated... nitrous is awesome but goes bang quicker, leaves you with lots of bits and costs a lot to get back to form again... At least the normally aspirated has got plenty of miles to go... think Duracell Bunny LOL And we can buy Anthonycea on eBay? How much dude? Now you gone green that bumps the price up huh?
Actually it is very clever how these guys play this PPC affiliate link game, that may in fact be eBay, but affiliates do the same thing to build their commissions and their link is embedded in those ads in many cases.
Don't ya just love FireFox? Right click, save link location, CTRL-T, paste, manually extract URL (so no clicking on ads) and what you got... http://search.ebay.com/happiness... ooh, happiness form $1.59. It had better be good
Lever, you can buy happy or "Meta Search" on eBay or just about any other keyword that you can think of. See the attachment on an ADSENSE ad and look at the lower left hand corner on where it leads.
You should see what they want for roadkill, Ghosts, Gnomes, & Leprechauns ! Absolutely horrendous. Don't they know Leprechauns can make gold coins happen ? Jeez, you'd think someone would wise up to it.. but alas, they don't make it onto the high paying keywords list.. (http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/adsense-sandbox/?url=roadkill) - at least ebay has great deals on roadkill, and used condoms http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/adsense-sandbox/?url=used+condoms). Cheers, JL
Lever & John, this shows that traffic is traffic no matter how you get it, great find John John, do you think that eBay offers "Levers arse" on a platter
Thanks for the post Riziko, that is great and gives us many examples, have any comments on if affiliates use this tactic in addition to eBay
I had one of those ebay ads come up on my site and it said "Semen for Sale." I about flipped my noodle! Totally outrageous.
Check it out... this was the ad I got on my site: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=semen&btnG=Google+Search
That is just some affiliate site chasing cheap keyword traffic, it is shotgun marketing campaign and it is all automated also, they are shooting everywhere and at everyone.
"If you think you can't buy happiness, you don't know where to shop!" is what this multi-millionaire's wife said. It's pretty accurate in my opinion.
Looks like eBay is buying happiness by using every and any keyword to drive traffic back to the site. Anyone understand how affiliate marketers do this on Google and other engines Can anyone show examples of how to conduct affiliate marketing campaigns using these tactics
So will this focus on any low cost keyword Seems that eBay is going after just about any and every term to drive traffic I think I am going to buy some "Crazy Rob" at eBay
