So I just got 'Tested Marketing Methods' by John Caples in the post today. A few pages in and its quite apparent from the start that if I'm not testing, I may as well jack in this whole thing. Looks like a great book with useful and usable nuggets of information. Has anyone else read it and also, does anyone recommend any other books or resources devoted to effective sales copy.
I saw this exact headline in The Ultimate Sales Letter by Dan Kennedy. Must be used all over the place. Right now, I'm reading The Elements of Copywriting by Robert Bly.
Yep, Caples originally wrote it and from what I've read, it's well referenced. I think I watched Eben Pagan talk about it last week on a random video. Let me know what the Robert Bly one is like. I'm quite inspired by the simplistic 'tried and tested' approach of Tested Marketing Methods so far.
I'm looking for some good books, especially about "sales pitches". It seems really difficult to find anything solid, but if you guys have any recommedations or good reviews please share. Vene
