    Hi friends,

I do not know what should I do now. I have real estate website and one of my competitor has copied all my pages on his website. Content is till to the last word the same but only the company name is changed. I called them but nobody talked to me.

I am very angry and I don't know what I have to do? I have written all these content, word by word and copy and paste. Here is the real one(www.antalyahomes.com) and fake one is (www.gold-antalya.com) .

    Do you have any advise.

check to see if they are in the search engines, if so, submit a copyright infringment complaint againt them. Also get a lawyer to send a registered letter to the domain owner to cease and decist pending court litigation.

You should have make the URL clickable. When people click on it the copycat will see this page as the referrer. This will probably lead them here and let them know people are watching

I just had someone do the same thing recently to one of my blogs. As of today, their host has finally suspended their account. I'd say start there. Contact their host if they won't talk to you directly. Send an official DMCA request to have the infringing content removed. You can also contact the search engines to have the content de-indexed.

This so unethical and not right. I am sorry this has happened and I agree that a complaint should be made.

I am a new user. And just now could I add links on message. Sorry for this inconvaince.

http://www.antalyahomes.com/ and the fake one is http://www.gold-antalya.com/

But there is no the internet regulations and laws. Also Copyright laws does not contain web in Turkey.

I get an answer from an other site. If I register my Brand Name as Antalya Homes, nobody can use your content and the layouts of your site. I decided to register my Brand.

    Thanks for all replies.

In the US, copyright is applied to content the moment it is created, there is no need to register it at the copyright office but people do it as added protection and as backup in case something like this happens.

However, you are in Turkey and I guess the laws are different there. I would definitely follow the advice others have given and that is to contact the SE and have the site de-indexed and also contact their web host. If their web host is US based then you have a greater chance of them taking the site down until the matter is resolved. I'm not sure about other countries.

Good luck. I hope it gets resolved soon.

The copyright law that applies is the one where the host lies.(One of the corniest rhymes ever.) Basically, find out where their host is located. It could be located in a different country, meaning different copyright laws.

What a situation to be in. Definitely follow it up with their hosts and the Search Engines. Send a solicitors letter.
As a last resort put a link on your webpage and a big post about copy-right theft and make fun of them for not being able to come up with anything of their own :D

Sent an email anyway to them

sorry to hear about those copy cat. I think you could do something to prevent your site from being copied in the future, such as chnage to php, disable right clicks and many other way. hope you can shut their site down soon.
