Hello! I'm currently the admin (along side my girlfriend) and the founder of TheStudentWiki (TSW). We're a non-profit blog, aiming to help out students (mainly UK but will help globally) with any sort of situation! We have unique content, custom logo and such like. We post daily (except the last few days, due to exam leave), but are growing well! We have SE traffic already, with some great SEO going on (props to me for my 5 minute crash course in SEO whilst smoking with my girlfriend, seems to have paid off!). We're currently awaiting reply for public funding towards our project to fund advertising and marketing, which will be great! We have low keyword competition, high hopes and the motivation to make this work! Article about smoking and its bad effects is really helpful for the youngsters who are addicted to it. Really a nice website for the students.
Thanks for your feedback guys. It's a wiki in the sense of knowledge, not the script used. The goal is to provide a knowledge base for Students across the UK and US.
Great site. Only, I do not like seeing "site admin" links in sites, when you can access using a simple browser bookmark <yoursite>/wp-admin.
Nice site. Good concept. I would focus on either US or UK. The education systems are very different and trying to tackle both systems in one place would be tough.
Nop, the domain is totally suitable for this educational website. Also, considered there are lots of students reading your blog, I think It is good to having a forum on your website. I like your blog personally, and all your posts are really useful for as a student. Great Job
I believe you can make left sidebar more effective. You can also use top menu (It only has link to homepage on left and search field on right, but that line looks empty)

@iTunes, I love the idea of a student wiki, you barely see anything related to this type of field. If you haven't, you can easily make profit from this website by using educational CPA offers. Your not exactly spamming the readers, but if they see something thats school related about finance for example, you're actually sending the to a real website just you make money from it. But what you doing is nice, good luck to you and your GF!
