Suggestion These forums are so strick :/

    I believe these forums are too strict - its incredibly easy to get banned. All of friends who say that they have been banned before and even the people who try to be good like me eventually end up being banned. My suggestion is to make these forums a little less strict - I mean giving people more 0 point infractions for the less important things and if there are too much 0 point infractions - they build up to make 1. Anyone else agree?

    How does a bunch of zeros build up to 1? I guess in your mind you can pretend you get 0 points for each infraction, and then after you get 10, it gives you 1, which also gives you a ban. {shrug}

    I mean have it so a set amount of 0 point infractions become 1.

    And the rules aren't clear enough - I got an infraction for breaking a rule and the rule is not stated anywhere on these forums.

    Strictness makes it more visited/loved and clean.

    you would have to have an infraction thats worth 0 points, we don't have any of those.

    what would that be?

    Ok alright. Yes the strict makes this forum clean I agree - just thought it was a bit too strick but forget this idea.

    And the infraction I got for is in the services section. Link commenting services aren't allowed - I see people buying and selling those and it doesn't say anywhere :/ or not that I can see please correct me if Im wrong. Thanks.

    Most of the people here are selling and buying which involves money. You can't be too strict about those things especially on the internet.

    I don't mean strict about that part. In fact I think they are too less strict in that part lol... some scammers they dont ban.

    But about the rules about spamming - I am finding it hard to avoid receiving infractions for some stupid posts.

    What is link commenting? I think you mean Blog commenting which infact is spamming in a way.

    If you accept that they are stupid then why the whining? :p

    I do not think they are strict as you said. There are rules that you must follow in order to be part of these forums. Like that happen to me at the very beginning of me using these forums. I got 5 points infraction, 4 I knew I was doing something wrong, and the last one it was lack of knowledge; I did not read the "Term of Use" now I know and I guarantee that these points infraction would never happen to me again.

    I hate when people say this it's a pet peave of mine, but this isn't true at all. More strict = less visited, but cleaner. Look at the largest forums in the world and their strictness. That 4chan (I'm not exactly sure) or whatever it is, but it is spammed to hell which is a reason I never signed up for it. I'm a member of d2jsp (4th largest?) and the spam is horrible at times. I don't really get that as much here.

    I view dp as more of a business forum and not a personal forum. This is why strictness is better even if you are not buying or selling. I am just learning and intend to keep it this way here for the most part.

    Spam = Trolls
    Trolls = Attention
    Attention = Largest amount of people in an area

    This way were not attracting as many trolls. Even though there's one that is horrible on here and I think everyone knows who I'm talking about, but I'd rather not say their name.

    Strictness = Better for business forums
