Hi! I've launched a new website in the Health business. I've checked the ads displayed on my website with the Adwords traffic estimator and no keyword is worth less than 0.80$. Then how can I get 12 clicks with 0.42$? It's the seventh website I'm launching and every time I launch a new website, Google lowers my average CPC, which means more work for me but still the same money. I'm really fed up with that...
For the niche I'm in, advertisers are supposed to pay between 0.80$ and 3$ according to adwords tool...
No I don't think it's invalid clicks as they usually give you 0$. And it's been like that for the past two weeks...

you have to select any one keyword and put it in your site at places. I do it and am getting 25 cents on an average. Dont ask for the niche, I dont want to disclose it. Sorry. But you can go to the adwords external tool and target a keyword for yourself. It will work.
for you may be it costs that much. but adwords bid cost is different for everyone. based on account history, landing page, CTR, QS, and few other factors. besides, not all the adwords advertisers advertise on content network. also, adwords ad could cost different in different time of the day as well depending on how many advertisers are there.
you could have had one click for 42 cents, and 11 site-targeted cpm clicks for zero cents. learn how to read your stats.
This month I am also on 3c cpc, I am changing my website design and replying for tribalfusion. I consider this a laugh on good publishers, so good bye to google it is.
You sound like your giving up too easily, also those estimates are for adwords on google search i believe, not the same for on content sites and obviously the publisher gets significantly less. How long do you run each site before feeling its not working?
