There's No Shortcut to Blogging Success

I've read a couple of threads here and there saying "I made a new blog. How can I earn $500 a day with it (the easy way)?" or something like that. Well, I think there's no shortcut or express way or whatsoever to be "successful" in blogging. You have to work hard and think hard. :p

Here's a post of mine which further delves into this topic.

    Your thoughts about this?

I agree boardwalk...Yes blogging is not so easy as people are thinking even I am also running 5 blogs with different niches from last 2 month and updating frequently with unique content but I am not accepting any single bucks from those list now. I am on white hat seo so obviously it will take few months. I am sure after few month I will have good buck every month..Thanks :)

of course there are shortcuts. The shortcut is to already have money to invest in your blog. This way you can get exposure on the large blogs. However these bloggers are in it for the long term, not the quick buck

Really good points here. I think it goes a long way in dispelling some of the myths of blogging and making money doing it. If it were that easy then would not everyone have their own blog?

    Thank you

ffnstuff: But there's no shortcut to learn how to be a good blogger and to build a stable readership base (without bribing). ;) Unless you have superpowers and you can learn how to do things in a second.

C4supplements: Yeah, thanks. :) Hope you can leave a comment on my post..

Actually there are shortcuts. I've had posts that I wrote a week ago that ended up on the top ten listings in Google for specific keyword phrases resulting in organic traffic back to my site, inquiries about my services, and eventually a contract.

Using the right combination of SEO plugins for WP, pinging properly, using keywords in your post headings and 2-3 times in your post, these are things you can do to boost your readership, and SE placement, and eventually help your bottom line.

Google loves blogs with original content..even if your posts only have a paragraph or 2, they can still end up in the top 10 listings for the specific keywords you are targetting.
