What does this sentence mean? "There's more than meets the eye with you" I've listened it yesterday while watching "Transformers the movie", from the Sam in the beginning and from Optimus Prime in the last minutes. The first time i heard this sentence was when Sam brings Mikaela back home with his Camaro; Mikaela: "You think i'm shallow?" Sam: "I think you're...no no no. I think...I think There's a lot more than meets the eye with you" But i don't really understand what this means
It means, there's more than she appears to be. Sort of don't judge a book by its cover. Well, kind of.
