I dont know how is that ... some body explain I opened about 10 threads in different time with different members posted on it not including me viewed page source pub id was the same in all cases not for my surprise it was Shawn pub id i knew it from his blog any explanation other than banning me?
Create a channel for digitalpoint and then view its stat from adsense control panel and you will know the truth!

You don't see your own ads. Ask someone else to check the pub-id. This is because if you accidently click on the ads, you risk losing your account. Thanks, e = mc²
You don't get shown your own ads. Nice try though. They put shawn's ID in place when you view your own thread. Any other member logged in might see your ad. Here's an easy solution - make sure that your ad code is set up in a channel, call it "Digitalpoint" and watch how many impressions you get from the revenueshare.
In order to protect yourself not to click your ad, DP by default would not show the ads with your pub-ID. So no wonder you cannot see your own pub-ID.
forums are bad for monetizing, especially one that uses revenue sharing - don't expect to make much - i made like a $1.50 the past 4 or 5 months and compare the amount of posts and threads you have with the amount that I have
If you are planning to make big money from the revenue share, forget it. I think I made $5 the whole time here. It is just a small incentive not designed to make you rich. As stated, you will never see your own ID because if you clicked it, you would be banned for invalid clicks. Make a channel in your Adsense account for DP and you will see views of your thread and if you get a click, which is rare, you will see that.
first, you never see your own ad or your pub id on the source. second, there is 50% chance that your ad will be shown. so others will see your ad 50% of the time and DP ad 50% of the time. if you want to make sure your ad is being shown or not, create a channel for DP ad. that way you will be able to see the impressions and clicks (if any).
Just the other day.....I had 14 page impressions and I made $.01 Its working! Like the others have said, don't expect to make bunches of $$$ from this forum. In my opinion, the knowledge I have learned so far is priceless.
It works, but as safety Shawn has eliminated us from seeing our own ads (if logged in). Don't expect to get rich, but it's nice to make a few extra cents!
come on try not to live on this ad revenue sharing thing. just make your usual contribution and the rest will follow. im here to learn
It's working for me. I've made a few dollars from the threads I've started here. As sultanofseo said, make a channel for your DP ads so you can see how many impressions and clicks. I get appx. 50 impressions per day from DP.
It's to protect you from clicking your own ad's therefore violating Google's TOS. It's to protect you, it's working.
personally i stopped using dp sharing system , because you're risking youre adsense account , plus it will not bring you a big thing !!
