Ok there isn't really any secret to marketing your site , All you have to do is create alot of quality content for your website. Then visit social networking site's , article directories, forums and anywhere else that will accept your article , and then at end of articles put if you like my article more can be found at my site here. Make sure your articles are quality articles or otherwise alot of sites user's hate spammy articles, I'm one of those people . Well that's it simple theory isn't it but it works.
Thank you for stating the obvious 'Quality content' gets overused by webmasters and SEO wannabes. What you need is not quality content, but interesting content --- just my two cents.
Not picking on anyone in particular, just the same post that I have seen a million times. This is so contradicting, yes it will bring you a very minimal amount of traffic. None that will be worth a crap. Successful sites are all viral marketing, forced into your face. Does PR really matter if your site is EVERYWHERE? What good is some good content going to honestly do for you? I say as of today I'm on a new kind of campaign. I'm going to attempt to get 100,000 one way links a week for 30 days starting today! PM me if you are willing to add a link for 30 days.
Agreed. There's a fine line between a so-called 'quality' article and an article that is actually interesting.
I agree. I'd dare to say that my blog about finance, has better quality than a lot of the more popular blogs I compete with on traffic. They just market better.
Google is going to attempt to ban you in... 30 minutes? Man, hundred links per week is suspicious enough.
Yep, that's not a secret as many people know that, anyway its also important that particular content should have some interesting & viral component so that the readers could share them to others.
I really doubt this! Imagine Paris H. does a hot P**N Video in jail - out of the blue the site breaking the news (or linking to the video) will have thousand if not millions links. Will it get the site banned because half of the net is pointing to it! Most probably not - because dynamic linking is the nature of the web just my 2 cents here!
secret or no secret, the same internet marketing material can be repackaged again and again to sell to different people thats the power of internet marketing
Social networks works great, but they give me a traffic just for a few days and ... no sales, I cannot trace long term effect from submission to social networks sites... Forum, well, it is great idea, but again, you will have a short term effect, if people will really like then they will visit your web-site, but tomorrow your post will go down and nobody will see it. You can get 100-1000+ visitors from forum a day, but what about sales? What about long term effect? I don't know how to make this work for me as a machine. Article sites - agree, article sites work. First, they give a good SEO effect. Second, if someone looking for content for reprint, he will go to article site. Unfortunately, people do understand that only unique content will work for them, so they do not like to take many articles from web-sites.
I have been doing this non stop for three months and have had some trouble. For some reason, even with doing this my back links are constantly declining.
Google is known for their handjobs... ...so no, it won't get banned if weight of mammoth, ultra-strong links outpowers low-level, crappy ones.
The real secrets aren't in a book or forum, because only a damn fool would tell you his or her most crucial methods for making money. Sell them the bread, keep the steak. Yeah, you can eat and do something with bread, but that big fat juicy T-bone in the sky isn't going to be thrown on your plate. You have to eat your bread, do your time and figure out how to get it. Oh, and most webmasters (and evidently web writers) haven't learned what the word "interesting" means when it comes to articles. They say quality, quality over and over, but their articles are nothing more than 10-year-old stale protein powder mixed with battery acid. Who cares if you spell all your damn words right. Be interesting or be gone.
Not only Quality content, you need unique and interesting ideas to write 'quality content'. It's actually the uniqueness of the articles that attracts traffic and users to it, and also backlinks in the entire process.
