I don't think so. The key is traffic. You can get traffic by trying to get your site on places like digg/reddit/fark/propeller. Those sites won't produce good ctr but they will also help your page rank in google.
The truth is, there is no shortcut or fast way. Just boost your traffic, and make the site more glamourous. Nothing ever comes easy, and you just have to put effort into it. I got my first $100 about 6 months after starting to use adsense... but determination kept me going, and i'm halfway to payout again, and i'm getting there faster than last time. It's just determination. What kind of site are you running?
Adsense is not for quick money , it require lot of whitehat tricks and time as well to grow and built a good online income stream.
I dont know of any shortcut, only of increasing your promotional efforts correctly to increase your earnings. And lots of traffic isn't enough, needs to be from the right people and places.
Revolutionary content and a quick viral marketing campaign? The revolutionary content is pretty damn impossible to make though.
If there are any shortcuts, then it's most likely a blackhat technique. It might work for a little while and once G finds out, you'll most likely get your account banned. You need consistent, targeted, orgranic traffic from the SERPs to make decent money with adsense. Also, you can make it a lot easier on yourself if you pick a niche that pays decently ($4-$5 CPC) because then you don't need a ton of traffic to have a good payday. Once you've figured out what works for you and your sites as far as CTR and moving up in the rankings for your keywords, then you should focus on driving more traffic to your sites to increase payout. Hope that helps!
You could try and get your site on the front page of digg or something, but that won't be easy, and I'm not sure if it is as effective as it used to be or not. Traffic = money.
If I want a spike in my Google AdSense earnings I replace my content ads with link ads and place them at a new location on my websites. I usually change back and forth every month or so. It works for me.
