Hallo! I have got a fashion related blog, where I've got adsense already for months. However, recently I've noticed some other adsense type, in completely different colors from mine and a different format that I never used, appears on my page occassionally. I checked once in the HTML file, and saw that this Google ads really exists there with a different google ID than mine. Once I refresh my site, it disappears and I an't see it any more in the HTML file as well. I've gone to the wp section and checked the codes and can't see this ads type there at all.
It's been already a week this has been gping on on my site. Could you help me what's the reason and how I can fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

It's possible that you got hacked somehow. Also, if you are using WordPress to run your blog, are you using any additional plugins that simplify the placement of ad units? There are many plugins whose authors put certain amount of visitors to be displayed with their own ad units instead of yours, thus generating passive income simply from people who use their plugins to run Adsense, Adbrite or some other ads.

P.S. Also, for Wordpress blogs, there is a cool plugin called Wordpress Firewall 2 (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-firewall-2/ ) I'm using it on almost all of my wordpres blogs now as it makes it harder for hackers to tamper with ur stuff.

I also think I'm hacked. I installed a plugin a week ago, called "Awsome Google Adsense", and then removed it, as didn't like it. I think it's because of this plugin, because I again saw the wrong ads code on my site today, checked it in the HTML file, and found the Google ads ID of this wrong code. Then I searched that ID in the Internet and everywhere it's this plugin. I guess it's been because of that. Anyways, I don't know how to remove this wrong ad code from my site. Please advise me what to do.

If you don't want to reinstall your theme because of some reason (you've done some extensive editing or something and you don't want to do all that again), try installing firebug plugin in mozilla, turn it on for your site and find exactly where that malevolent ads code is placed on your site.

Judging by what's said in the plugin description (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/awesome-google-adsense/) it seems that the code is likely somewhere in the theme files.

Go to your blogs editor (Appearance -> Editor) files and find this code in them. I guess it should be somewhere in the index.php, single.php, sidebar.php or page.php file - or maybe in all of these combined. Use Find feature in your browser and search for Adsense code number in each of these files.

If you are still having problems, PM me and I'll look into it myself if you grant me access. I don't guarantee the above will work, but I'm pretty sure if the code exists on the site it must be somewhere in those files, maybe even functions.php and it's messing with your stuff.

    Cheers

i don't think he is hacked.
    some questions:
is it only occurs when you are seeing the image ads? some ads have their own color and combination. for these ads you can have this type of problem.
    thanks
