    hi all,

if you are one of those poor souls who have spent hours and hours in making sites to earn google money but have given up because that 100$ mark looks reallly far then there is some hope left for you.

You can get your money back from google adsense account as long as its more then 10$ by terminating the account. I have discussed in detail about the same issue some time back at Blog4Bloggers feel free to ask any doubt or post comments in either place.

nice question smyrl. but this is not suppose to be a google hack to make easy money. if you wish to earn more then 100 $ by this trick then you can do it without it. This is ONLY for those people who have given up on this whole google adsense thing.

How about just selling the website off to someone for whatever you have in the account for whatever you've made in adsense, and call it even?

You can't change the name on the adsnese account so checks would be written to the last person. Hmm however you could do EFT right?

i don't know. this info is useful for all those people who have given up their site/blog and also the hope of getting that money out of google just because they can't get to 100$ point. Ofcourse if someone wants to join again then why terminate his account in first place.

i had to terminate my account since i started a business for my site. To change the payee name on the check and to put everything into the business name, i had to terminate the first account and open a new one. Just email Google before you do anything and they will lead you in the right direction. The only hard thing (more time consuming) was changing all the adsense ads over to the new ID but otherwise everything went smoothly

Shirsc, I guess I should have registered a business before I started....oo well I only have 1 site so far so it won't be that bad.

I hate changing accounts, just too much coordination to be done. I hope changing a google account is smoother then changing bank accounts.

Shrisc could you tell us what's the benefit of having checks with business name and not personal name. does it make any difference unless you really have to change it for some reasons like partners in your business etc. I am new to this. Please share your knowledge and experience with us so that DP readers and I can learn from this. Making a account in ur business's name is great tip you have already given to people who are starting new.
    thanks

Surely if you spent hours and hours on your site then you wouldn't need to terminate your account anyway? The site I made last year (my first one) isn't very good in terms of layouts etc... but still manages to manage $4 a day...

Especially when you have such a great resource like DP!! :D

I think it's not a good idea to terminate your adsense account.

I work with a partner. When we first started, everything was put under my name, under my social security number and so forth, so I was the one getting taxed on all our earnings (i did show on my taxes that he got half the profit). The main reason to put it under a business is for tax purposes especially if you work with other people. It is now easier to show how we spent our money since we have a business credit card. Not everything has to be put on my personal credit card anymore.

It all depends on the situation you are in.
